Treatment of hyperthyroidism including

  • Conservative treatment of hyperthyroidism, especially with little or no stomachache,
  • Preparation for surgery in all forms of hyperthyroidism,
  • Preparation for radioiodine therapy, especially in patients with severe hyperthyroidism,
  • Immediate therapy after radioiodine therapy,
  • Prophylactic treatment of patients with subclinical hyperthyroidism, autonomic adenoma or a history of hyperthyroidism, where iodine exposure is unavoidable (eg iodine-contrast screening).
